How booking through StudioLink works.

How does StudioLink work?

Browse studios in Los Angeles, pick a room, date, length, and (optionally) an engineer, then pay a deposit to confirm. It's instant and self-serve — your slot is held the moment you book, and your confirmation is emailed and texted to you right away.

Do I need an account?

No — book without signing up. Your last contact details and booking history are saved on this device only, so your next booking is one tap. Because they live on the device, your bookings show on the phone or browser you booked from; your emailed and texted confirmation is your receipt anywhere.

What is the platform fee?

StudioLink charges a non-refundable 3.9% service fee on each booking. It covers booking, your confirmation messages, and platform infrastructure, and is separate from the studio rate, deposit, and any engineer fee.

How do payments work?

You pay a deposit on StudioLink to confirm your booking. The remaining studio balance is paid at the studio, and the engineer's fee (if you added one) is paid to the engineer at the session. The studio shares its in-person payment options (card, cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay) in your confirmation.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your session. Inside the 48-hour window, the deposit held by the studio is forfeited. The 3.9% platform fee is not refundable.

To cancel or reschedule, contact the studio directly — their details are in your confirmation message.

I have a question about gear, parking, smoking, what to bring, or arrival.

Studio operations — gear, parking, smoking, arrival, what to bring — are handled by the studio running your session. Reply to the studio's confirmation SMS or use the contact info they send you; they can answer anything about their space and rules.

I have a question about a charge.

Your deposit is charged when you book on StudioLink — it confirms your session. The remaining studio balance and any engineer fee are paid at the studio, so reach out to them for questions on those amounts. The 3.9% service fee is the only separate StudioLink charge.

Is my booking confirmed right away?

Yes — your session is confirmed the moment your deposit goes through, no waiting on the studio. Your confirmation is emailed and texted to you immediately; if you don't see it, check spam or message us.
